Bears have an unfortunate reputation that must be disproved to see them for what they really are: amazing creatures. Most have heard the phrase, “Don’t come between a mom and her cub”, which may not always apply, yet does capture their ferocious yet gentle nature. While Kodiak Browns can reach 11 feet, their fierce nature often only lasts briefly before dissipating back into peacefulness again quickly. I encourage spending some time on grass flats as soon as you discover their big hearts!
